Tommorow will mark three weeks since I married my best friend turned love of my life, Ryan McComb, went on a honeymoon to St Lucia and moved to Grenada, where my new husband is attending medical school at St Georges University. Subsequently, all these wonderful, romantic and life changing events have at once stripped me of my former self and sprinkled upon my being the role and title of "housewife". So, much to the surprise of my own bewildered self, here I am a housewife, in Grenada and lets be honest feeling somewhat desperate as I try to navigate through the often times confusing, disabling and vulnerable position of being in a new country and culture, trying to make new friends and dealing with the realities of being married and not only just married but married to a med student.
